All staff involved in translation gathered in Yamagata to focus together on taking 1 Corinthians 1-7 to the next level.
On Sunday (17th), team members attended the worship service at the Yamagata Deaf church in the morning and had a Q&A session and fellowship time with the church members that afternoon.
That week (18th-22nd) they focused on the next draft of 1 Corinthians 1-7. Together, their variety of experience and background knowledge generated intense and invigorating discussions as they worked together to bring the signing closer to the meaning and impact of the original text.
A big thank you to all who so graciously welcomed us into their homes during our stay in Yamagata.
