On Sunday, August 20, three churches (the Zao Christ Church, the Kohitsuji Christian Church Narusawa Chapel, and the Yamagata Deaf Christ Church) gathered together at the Zao church for a joint worship service. It was special to share about the translation project in person. About 50 years ago it was upstairs in this church where the Yamagata Deaf believers first met for JSL worship services. This Zao church now continues to pray for and support the translation work. We are so grateful!
This week (August 21-24) the Romans translation team is working on chapters 9-16 at the Yamagata Deaf Church. We are also having having intensive Leadership Team meetings in preparation for the new fiscal year.
