Pastor Matsumoto shares with church groups in Oregon.

Pastor Matsumoto was in Oregon speaking to various groups about the need for sign language Bible translation. He shared with a congregation in Lebanon speaking from Mark 7:31-37 (the story of Jesus healing the Deaf man) giving insights as a Deaf person. The missionary who first Pastor Matsumoto about Jesus about 45 years ago, was in attendance.

He also spoke in Gresham about Deaf identity and Deaf culture and told of how the JSL Bible project members are involved in supporting sign language Bible translation groups throughout Asia-Pacific with APSDA (Asia Pacific Sign Language Development Association) a consortium of 15 sign language Bible translation projects.
